I very much appreciate the professionalism and kindness showed during my stay in Cozumel. Your straight talk and logic have had a big impact. I have taken no insulin since returning nor had no readings over 150. I have not smoked and feel I am over the hump, I have maintained your suggested diet and am committed to losing 50-60 pounds over the next year. So far so good. After talking with you, I have consulted with another cardiologist ( who incidentally totally agrees with your suggestions) and have made the reductions in the medicines.
Once again I cannot express my appreciation sufficiently to you and your staff for the care given and the concern showed. Sue send her regards as well. I will keep in touch and let you know how things go.
