Dear Dr. Rafe,
I hope that you and your family are well and enjoying this holiday season as much as possible.
I think and talk about you often, but particularly today when remembering last Christmas spent with you and David in your hospital. If it hadn’t been for the skill and diligence of you and your team, I would not be well and here today to celebrate this Christmas. For that we are forever grateful!
As I’m sure you have, we have had a wildly chaotic year and so please forgive me for not being regularly in touch. We all wish for a calmer and saner 2021!
Most recently, we have moved to a small town 280 km east of where we were outside Toronto. Among many of the delights of small-town living, we are in only a Yellow Zone for COVID… Although the whole province is on lockdown for the next month, beginning at midnight. So, we will be mostly on our own and playing with our new home.
David asked me to especially pass on his personal greeting and best wishes.
